It's much more likely to grow fungus and mold and just turn disgusting. Wine starts with pure grape juice, and is fermented with great care to a proper environment. It takes longer than a month.

It is more common, and simpler, to let apple cider ferment and produce 'hard cider' with some alcohol content. See the reference for more detail. It still takes some care to produce a suitable beverage instead of a toxic bacterial or fungal culture.

wine is just juice that has been set out, the sugars turn in to acohol, look on the label, if the experation date is not in 1-2 months you probably shouldnt try, but if you wanna set it out for about a month over the experation date that might do something, make sure that the punch is not modified or it will not work look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wine
