Are you referring to the party walls or are you referring to the common areas outside? Need more information.

Hi,
You seem to be leaving out some info here, but let me fill in for you. Hallways and lawn space between apartment buildings of the same complex fall under a "common space" category. Other than that, it's call walls! ; )
