There were none around where I lived but I would guess about 10 or 15 cents. I remember you could get burgers from Artic Circle in 61 -- 2 for a quarter on Tuesdays.

As late as 1969, our McD's burgers were 15 cents, and cheeseburgers were 17 cents. A Coke was 10 cents, and fries were, too. Lunch for under 50 cents; we'll never see that again!

Most burgers were 19 cents, I don't remember MCD but probably 15 cents. Even as late as 1965 you could get a burger, shake and fries for 49 cents at Gill's they called it a Gill's 49er.
We always got the Gills 49er as teens if we could afford it.

To my knowledge, McD's didn't exist in 1955. in 1960 their burgers were 15 cents.

I would say 15 cents, a few years ago they had a special with the "original price" for a short time.

I didn't know McDonalds existed until I saw my first one in 1962. I "think" they cost about 50 cents then.
