I absolutely LOVED "Jurassic Park" and "Timeline," which left me with no more fingernails. Even "State of Fear" was a nail-biter, once it got going. I thought "Prey" and "Eaters of the Dead" were a little unusual, although they were well-written. I didn't care much for "The Terminal Man" or "The Andromeda Strain." I'm reading "Sphere" right now, which isn't bad so far. What are YOUR feelings on his books?

My favorite books of all time (and I've read a lot of books) are the Jurassic Park books, more specifically The Lost World. I first read them in 6th grade, and they made me look over my shoulder when I was walking to the bus stop in the early hours, lol.

The most far-etched one? Hm ... Timeline. I know he set it up WONDERFULLY, and he actually made it make sense of how they could travel in the past, but to me it was still a little ... yeah. But don't get me wrong! I loved it! :-]

And I don't think I've ever really disliked any of his books, other than his autobiogaphy (Travels). But that's because it was based on his real-life experiences, and there were no dinosaurs or aliens or killer gorillas in it. Although I will say that The Andromeda Strain was pretty boring. The only interesting parts were the beginning, when the town dies, and the end. The Cobra Event by Richard Preston totally beat The Andromeda Strain.

Ugh, look at me and my nerdy self, rambling on and on about these books. Haha! :-D

You should pick me for best answer, methinks ....
hehehehe
sorry, I couldn't resist.
well hey, a dishonest answer is better than a lame answer that just says "I never read any of his books."
and technically, it's NOT a dishonest answer, because I gave you the lame honest answer also ....

;O)

Have a nice day!!

'Andromeda Strain', I think - 'Timeline' is good, Jurassic Park has a good premise (creating dinosaurs by cloning cells) -Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's ' The Lost World' had the same theme.
