Hmm...well flash toys can exceed the bandwidth of your page, making it take forever to load, so I wouldn't recommend too much stuff.
I've looked through & through for polls everywhere & I can't say there really is a site that works because either Myspace filters them or they don't work! [scams]
Flash toys you can get at a number of sites...this one will make mp3 players, weather widgets, etc. with flash:

Also, try going to the bottom of this list of options on this page to where it says "Flash Things". That will give you the info on how to make things like clickable flash, flash comments/pics, etc. =]
