At times, a question such as this will elicit dozens and dozens of elaborate schemes to spare a householder an unwanted conversation with Jehovah's Witness door-to-door ministers.
All such schemes are a complete and utter waste of time!
Many of your neighbors have figured it out, and it's really quite simple:
1. Open the door
2. Smile (optional)
3. Ask "Jehovah's Witness?"
4. Receive affirmation
5. Say, "Thank you, but I'm not interested"
6. Gently close the door (slamming is rude, but your prerogative)
Please recognize that Jehovah's Witnesses are not primarily interested in converts, but in working to obey Jesus' command to preach (Matt 24:14; Matt 28:19,20).

Well, I personally am a Witness, so I usually say Hi Brother/Sister. Depending on circumstances I have them in for a while.
In the case of someone else, depending on whether I want to talk or not, I either, talk, or say no thanks, and don't talk. If it is hot weather we try to remember to offer them a seat and/or something cool to drink.
By the way, one of my mother's closest friends, answered the door naked, and ended up becoming a Witness anyway.

Become very angry, indeed. I have to sleep in the day. I tell them I will call them up at 3 AM and see how they like it! Or, maybe I should get a killer dog! (jk)

WOAH!!! they were just here bout half an hr ago...I told them to leave and never come back and if they did Id have my dog send them to hell cuz according to them all the spots in heaven are taken already

Last time they knocked on mine I pointed at the couch where my nephew sleeps and said, if you can stand the smell, sit down. They left. lol

dont answer and ingonore and if they still dont get the point..send in my dogs sorry some of them dont get the point and can get very rude..u have to send them a message
