this sounds like me, except I don't just shake, my face turns bright red as if I just ran 5 miles... and I'm pale so it goes in shades of blue and purple too!
Don't worry, I'm sure your teacher understands. You'll get better at presenting with practice. Once you're confident in your presenting ability, it wont be so scary anymore.
For future presentations you can always practice in front a stuffed animal or family member... this really works.

I know how you feel - I find it incredibly hard to speak in front of people. If a teacher announces that we have to do a presentation of some kind to the class, I worry about it intensly until it's time, then i'm a nervous wreck stammering, shaking, etc... It just takes me over.
Actually, I was thinking of doing a short course at my local college to do with public speaking confidence.
Maybe you could look around to see if there are any classes like that near where you live?
Good luck, and remember that you're not alone in how you feel.

Don't worry about it. I did something like that about 18 years ago. I only think about it once or twice a day now. So it will get better.
People have a greater fear of pubic speaking that burning to death. Hummm...
You should have asked a question about public speaking prior to the presentation. I went on to teach for 6 years after. I can get up in front of 100's of people now to do presentations.

No one thinks badly of you! They feel horrible FOR you! They ALL realize how terrified you were! There is NO reason to be embarrassed! You couldn't help the fact that you had a PANIC attack!
Try to think back when you have seen someone in your position who was clearly terrified. I am sure you felt just horrible for them. This is the same way the people present felt for you.
Do NOT worry about this at all! No one is going to hate you for it!
Someday soon, you will be able to laugh at this experience and tell people the story in a way that they will all laugh along with you!

Rob, nervousness and anxiety gets to everyone so don't worry. Practice makes perfect so before every presentation, try to give it ago in the privacy of your home! However, the reverse works for me. I'm the queen of improptu speeches.
