"Our understanding of climate change has come a long way. ... global temperatures are rising and that this is caused largely by human activities. When we burn fossil fuels we release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, and the concentration of greenhouse gases has increased substantially." George W Bush 9-28-07

I never did deny it, I just question that man is the sole cause. We simply haven't been around long enough.

I also find it perverse that folks on the far left have taken this natural phenomenon and rewrote it to fit their political agenda.

Please don't call me a denier. I am very environment conscious. I do what I do for the earth, not for political gain and "I told you so's."

The fact is that the planets temperatures have went up and down by a few degrees for millenia just look at the little ice age that was climate change wasn't it, it's true that the climate is changing it's not true that its because of humanity.
A bigger climate problem than world temp going up by a few degrees is the destroying of the lungs of the world(the amazon and other rainforests) if this continues and the world population keeps rising soon there wont be enough oxygen for us.You should get bush to do something about that.

Not me. I disagree with him and of course you, not that the climate isn't changing, I don't think you can find three people on the planet that believes the climate isn't changing. But really do you think man is that significant that he can control the globes climate? Wait, not so fast, slow down, engage brain, and THINK. We have had 7 ice ages and 7 Global warming periods in the last 200 million years. And you want me to believe that in the last 50 years man has done irreversible damage to the planet by the emission of greenhouse gases because the temperature went up 1 degree. I would the love to hear the solution that can reverse this, because Carbon credits and US intervention will have NO impact whatsoever. Libsticker 9-29-07

I just read all the punk vss answers. What a joke, scientist are split, divided, disagree 50/50 and that depends on who is cutting their check. Explain how we are going to stop it, we going to cover the ocean so it does not emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. We going to pick up all the leaves so they don't emit nitrogen oxide back into the atmosphere. Get over your dumb vss self, and understand that man is not the center of the universe, he is just a cockroach in a split second of time on this planet.

I'm not going to change any minds, but it's climate change and not global warming. The environmentalists are pushing this agenda. I have seen the environmental lobby stop a lot things in my life time. The leader of Greenpeace stated that he wants a 50 cent tax on gasoline to go towards global warming. They spend more time doing environmental impact studies on new roads than they do in proving that global warming actually exists.

Probably not. The president didn't say that the concentration of greenhouse gases was a bad thing. It will probably lead to proposals for tax cuts for equipment that will cut greenhouse gases.

Never said it wasn't happening...but I do not agree with Bush about what's causing it...he is free to have his own opinion just as I am.

Do you understand how easily it is to turn this crap on you Libs? LOL

You bash Bush for his views that disagree with yours and then when he posits a view that you DO agree with, you bash him anyway.

This speaks volumes about Liberals, but nice try.

Stop their denial? How can they? They will just change the rhetoric to a NEW form of denial as in "We were saying that all along! Why did the Democrats not believe us?"
