I have a lot of pieces of soap leftovers and would like to melt them into one bar. Can anyone give me a simple recipe to do this?

I'm lazy. I took a small cloth bag and drop the soap pieces in it and wash with the whole bag.

I usually just get them wet and stick them together, typically with one bar body soap and one bar deodorant soap. That makes it convenient for use.

Now and then, I put the soap bars into a shallow pot of warm to ho water (no heat) and let them melt. Then I stir the mix and pour it into plastic molds or cardboard molds and let it dry, remove from the mold and put them in individual plastic bags for reuse.

Microwave them at short intervals until they liquefy then pour into a dish or mold and let cool, what you are pouring in in with a little cooking oil..enough to that once cooled the soap will release.
