1. Probably as much as the iPod Nanos
2. Twice the storage, twice the media, twice of everything!
3 The iPod Touch is basically an iPhone without the phone, so no. If you're usingit, ive heard that you can barely notice it unless you turn it off
4. If an iPod is easy to carry, then an iPod Touch is probably, too.

5. Same as 4
6. If you get an AppleCare Protection Plan, you can get a new one free of charge if you ever break your iPod Touch or send it into an Apple certified specialist and get it repaired.
7. Since black is about the only color that won't make the iPod Touch/iPhone look gaudy AND because it doesn't show foreign materials (dirt, dust, dried Coke, etc.) as easily.

8 GB= up to 1750 songs
16 GB= up to 3500 songs

The glass is much like the iPhone, and should not be easy to scratch. Protective screen film is available for the iPhone and is likely also available for the Touch.

It is considerably thinner than the previous iPod Video and the iPhone, but height and width are about the same for all 3 products. I haven't dropped my iPhone yet, but have had a couple close-calls in 2 months.

Again, the case makers that have developed cases for iPhones and iPods will do the same for the Touch. With the iPhone, most case options were not available for about a month, since they did not have the actual product to work with... the same will probably be true for the Touch. A case would be the best way to protect it and to have a fun color on it. Since the front is the screen, I doubt they'll bother making colors, since only the back would change.

AppleCare is a manufacturer's extended warranty for product malfunctions, and does NOT cover damage from accidents or misuse.
