OK You made my day..uh-oh, that was Clint.
I can speak the english language in RD lines. Johnnie Boy in Mean Streets was his huge breakthrough. My favorites are Taxi Driver, King of Comedy, Awakenings,, Deer Hunter and Heat, The last scene with Al Pacino holding a dying RD's hand is classic.
I hear "Stardust" was his last really good performance.
Robert Deniro, in my opinion, is the greatest actor of his generation.
jennyman, Scent of a Woman was Al Pacino.

I love Robert DeNiro. He can play any role.
I guess I really started appreciating him more when he started making comedy movies like
"Meet the Parents." Followed by The Folkers.
Funny stuff.
I hated the movie where he died at the beginning. It broke my heart.
My favorite would have to be "Meet the Parents."
I agree with you about Awakenings, and I would like to see it again. It was so sad. He got so far just to slip back again.

I never knew he could be funny (although there were problem with King of Comedy), but Analyze This was really a hoot for me.
If I want the dramatic, you cannot top Raging Bull. That was some brutal acting all around

Meet the Fockers. This man is incredible through and through. With this movie he presented a side of himself I never 'knew'. He is the epitome of class. Always will be. No one thus far can hold a candle to him. He is so blessed. Because of his integrity so honored. I hope he appreciates his gift as much as we do. I think he does. Is good to know.

Yes!!! DeNiro is what makes movies excellent, reminds me
some what of Brando, Strong actor. Can't think of the one he
starred in with James Woods, He made Woods look good!
The treat of him and Pacino in same movie was unforgetable.
Glad you caught star of Scent of a Woman, as that was one of my favorites of Pacino. Fun Q, thanks.

He has made so many great ones it is very hard to choose. One that is often over looked is "Stanley and Iris." Jane Fonda was his co-star and it was an excellent movie.

DeNiro is one of my favs, for certain. Was really keen on "Heat" since it also had Pacino...but loved DeNiro in the "Fan"

I liked the movie (I cant think of its name) where he was a bounty hunter transporting a white collar criminal across the country. It was very funny.
Midnight Run - thats right, I remember now.
