First I would sent Aunt Hillary a thank you card for my completely unearned cash reward for her becoming president and wanting to give away as much of others peoples money as possible. Then like all the rest of the 18 yearolds I would by ipods,music downloads, get my older friends to buy me some booze,DVDs,video games,lots of shoes and clothes and the rest I would spend at McDonald's.
Sounds like money well spent? I don't think so either, but Hillary sure does,

I'm 34. When I was 16-19, I would have bought a car. Maybe sold my current car and added the $5K to it and bought a better one. Now I would dollar cost average it into a good mutual fund.

Save $2000 for university.
Buy a new fancy not slow laptop with the rest and then if I have any left over I would put it on my bank card.
