Here's my favorite place:

There's a TON of unbelievably great writers there. I'm currently reading "Jimmy the Exploder" (sucky title, AMAZING story), which is only one of the thousands of stories in the Horror section.

But they've got horror, action, fantasy, poems, humor, kids, manga, mystery, mythology, romance, sci-fi, spiritual, supernatural, thriller, western, and much more! Enough to keep you busy for a year :-]

Gutenberg.org has a lot of older, public-domain stuff. Baen.com/library/ has quite a lot of free fantasy/science fiction for download.
