There could be a few reasons: damage from sex, water infection, small cut from nail when wiping, spotting between periods etc. I would wait a day or two, if its still there or gets worse then have it checked out

Non-menstrual blood should not be ignored. However, it would be easier to help if we knew its origin.
Vagina: If this is the origin, it could be implantation bleeding which occurs when a fertilized egg attaches to your uterus. It could also mean that your period is a little off schedule, for reasons like a missed birth control pill or stress. Take a pregnancy test and make an appointment with your doctor.
Urethra: If this is the origin, you should see a doctor right away. Blood in your urine can mean many things, such as a problem with your kidneys.
Anus: If this is the origin, it could be due to a hard stool irritating the inside of your rectum. If it happens again and/or there is an increased volume of blood, see a doctor as soon as you can.
Good luck! I hope you feel better!

Could be a UTI urinary tract infection. This should be checked by a doctor, could be kidney ifection ore kidney stone. Left untreated can cause sepsis. Nothing to play around with. If you have no open areas on the surrounding area and you are sure it is not period blood. Go to doctor. CHECK IT OUT AT WEB MD

Maybe you have a UTI or break through bleeding are you on birth control? If so it could be break through bleeding. If it kind of hurts when you went potty you may have a urinary tract infection in either case you should go talk to your OB-GYN. Or did you have some rough play time last night that could be it too

You may be having some irregular spotting in between your actual period or you may have some rectal bleeding from hemorroids. Either way, if it's not bunches of blood, you should be okay. If it continues, see your doctor.~

you may have hemorrhoids, these are enlarged veins on the anus they can become painful and itchy, your doc will be able to tell you if you have these, then all you need to do is get cream from the chemist this will reduce swelling and any pain or itching you may have.
