As it nears Christmas, how many parents out there have children that find ingenius ways of locating and seeing what they're getting for Christmas?
Our children, 11 and 13, the 11 year old drilled out the tumblers on the locks while the 13 year old stood guard. I had to replace two of my titanium drill bits.
Tell me about your clever kids and how they do this to you?

They didn't like the extra home work that followed for punishment.

I see that they are home schooled.
Mine aren't that nosey.
They make a list,
we discuss the differences
between needs & wants.
So we have 2 or 3 needs
and 1 major want
&
1 minor want.
And I choose from that.
On the feast of the Yuletide,
We celebrate by having a huge
supper at 3 minutes after sunset.
We light the Yulelog and
have a big family get together.
The next morning, we exchange gifts.
We've never encountered any problems.
I don't remember any growing up.
The only thing strange that I did,
The night before, the Yuletide.
I raided the fridge & ate all the Mincemeat
turnovers that were supposed to be for
the next day.
I know I must have puked for a week,
because this was the first year
we were old enough to have
brandy in the sauce.

When they behave in this manner give em nothing and take em no where. Maybe they have it all over their parents and get away with alot that you havnt discovered yet? Wilful damage isnt a good trait for a kid to have.Raising my kids was fun but discipline they got. They grew up to be lovely kind good women.
