I said I should not have used that word. How big of an issue would it be with you. (for one of my parents its a big deal)

Okay, here's how I really think. I have coached for 30 years I am great with kids. (although not a great coach). We lost our first 3 games by a combined socre of 20-0. We finally win, the kids are happy and now this one parent wants to focuse on one stupid thing I said. It seems to me the world is so worried about "offending people" that no one focuses on the tgood things that poople do. Thanks for letting me vent

Obviously you are an enthusiastic coach and probably volunteering your free time as well. Most 10 year olds have heard the word you used and probably in their own homes. I would apologize for my exhuberant exclamation and say that" I just get overly excited sometimes." Say you'll try not to let it happen again and move on .

This isn't twenty years ago, kids now days know more cuss words than what you think. Do not apologize until a big issue comes up. That will make you weak in the eyes of the kids and your school/team organization. You sound like a sincere coach so if the situation comes up again try to find another word that would be better and have some humor - like 'butt'.

He's 10 they're probably just his friends. Stop reading too much into it, if they are those kind of calls why does your son give out your number and think this is okay? Take some responsibility and show the boy some morals instead of coming to Yahoo talking nonsense, how old are you? 15? Acting like a child.

Just deal with the fallout. I wouldn't defend myself, but be very contrite, and assure the parents that it will not happen again.

It really depends on the entire dynamic/league/situation. Would some folks lose their job over it? Sure. Some wouldn't. Much of it is probably out of your hands.

Some people are very touchy about cursing around children. I personally don't care as kids say and here much worse than that at school and on television. Don't beat yourself up for it. Take care!

Just gently tell them how sorry you are and that it was just in the heat of the moment that you got overexcited and it will never happen again. use the "we're only human." and hope for the best.

Dont stress!!! Its life!!!
