I will give some clues
(1) You cannot expect you feminist wife to cook for you even before she was not widowed
(2) She was widowed by your own mistake of making it possible for her to be a widow

If your wife becomes a widow - you really aren't going to need food! Caskets don't come with kitchens........

If your wife (feminist or otherwise) becomes a widow (by your own mistake or otherwise), that means that her husband (that's you!) is dead! That means that if you are dead, you do not need anyone to cook for you!
EDIT: Wait a minute! Are you suggesting that your feminist wife became a widow because one of her other husbands (not you) has died? Well, if your wife's other husband died by your own mistake, that means you'll be needing a very good attorney because you'll be up on manslaughter charges soon! Or, you could just go turn yourself in. When you go to jail, the jailhouse cooks can arrange for your meals for the next few years!
