I'm a girl who always wears glasses at work and I can be nerdy, intelligent.. and annoying whenever i want to be..lol. People tend to think we girls who use glasses are more serious/nerdy/conservative in life, but I say the glasses don't make us, it's our personality who make what we are and what we'll become with or without the blinkers.

You should NEVER judge a person by whether they wear glasses or not. I wear glasses, and know that I am very intelligent and nice. On the other hand, I know girls who get all F's and always get in trouble, who wear glasses. It's not only smart, nerdy poeple who wear glasses. All kinds of different people wear glasses, and you should never judge them by something as stupid as that. You will never get to know them.

Eyeglasses don't MAKE a person nerdy, intelligent, annoying, or what. You make yourself into those personalities. The shape, color, and thickness of the frames can make you look cute or downright ugly; whatever you want. Example: Thick, heavy, black frames make you look owlish. Small, thin, lighweight glasses can make you look oh-so-stylish.
Some of the most intelligent, wealthy, important people on earth wear glasses and, yes, I do take them seriously. Why not?

When I got glasses, the first thing most people said to me was, "Hey, they make you look really intelligent."
So, what? I looked dumb before? Don't think so!
People do seem to equate glasses with erudition. Possibly because, long ago, glasses were only really worn by scholars. Anyone else with poor eyesight just got someone else to read things for them.

Depends on the style of glasses. If they are 1980's big, then that is hideous. If they are acceptable in the 21st century, then maybe. I personally prefer contacts over glasses, but thats just my opinion.

Girls who ware glasses are not nerdy. They could be, but just because you wear glasses doesn't mean you are smart, I am not saying you are or aren't smart. But there are lots of smart people who don't wear glasses, and glasses can be cute.

I think people may take her more serious in what she does.. but the glasses dont make a person smarter, nerdy or annoying.. they are fine with me..

I think that they need improved vision, and god help the people that got on the road with that girl that was too worried about the way she looked with her glasses on, and what everyone else thought about her appearance with glasses!!!
