when ur aunt says she has thyroid problems,and she keeps going to the gynacologist is it necessarily serious? what is it? what are the causes,symptoms,affects? what should i do?

Thyroid is usually tested and treated by Internal Medicine Specialist, overactive or under-active thyroid are treated with Rx Meds. and are not serious. Thyroid cancer is serious.

dude a thyroid problem is in your throat...lol thats where your thyroid is.......usually if u have a thyroid problem u cant loose weight that easily because your thyroid isnt working right. i might have one because i have been dieting and not loosing anything so im going to the doctors sometime in november.
