Adam told God he wanted a companion. He said he could create a woman that will love him, cherish him, never fight, argue or whine. The food will always be prepared, the house will always be clean, and she will always be in the mood.
Adam said, wow God, how much will that cost me?
God: An arm & a leg
Adam : What can I get for a rib?

Seriously, Doc! That is the funniest question I've had to answer all week! ROFL!!

I suppose the answer would depend on whether you find women to be amusing or a pain in your side? ;o)

I'm a woman. I was made from a rib. That's why I like being held. I don't particularly like being jabbed with an elbow. =)

Hope you have a 'fantabulous' weekend too! And I thought I invented that word... I guess it must be in some dictionary, after all! =)

Woman Created Out of Man's Spare Rib

2007-10-06 09:51:15 · answer #3 · answered by ? 6 · 3 1

Well if you ask a man it's his Spare Rib...but I'm female and
must say Funny Bone cause man really doesn't know how to
laugh at himself....
Seriously All in the universe is a Unified Field of Energy making All ONE. We are Consciousness Energy experiencing human incarnation,,,,and take ourselves far
too serious. With true awareness from enlightenment one
can transmute energy to higher frequency and avoid all
thought of as earthly drama. Funny but not so funny that so
many are unaware of this reality!

God took a rib from Adam and created Eve. But, somehow
I think He threw in a funny bone as well, because I have an
off the wall sense of humour. Comes from being around my
husband all these years. He is hilarious. : }

I don't know how many Canadians are on--but Happy
Thanksgiving to one and all!!

What an excellent question , lol , I would say that they were indeed created from a spare rib of man , but many have an extra dash of hot sauce in the mixture which allows them full access to our funny bone ha,ha .

the 1st creation tale in Genesis a million looks to intend that ladies and men have been created on an identical time. interior the 2d version, beginning interior the 2d financial ruin, the 1st woman is made out of Adam's rib, so in this version, guy got here formerly woman. The creation of humanity is considerable to the 2d creation tale in Genesis. in this older narrative the 1st woman is created after the 1st guy (Adam), from his physique (Genesis 2:21-22), a concern which little doubt reflects the dominant place of adult males in a patriarchal society. however the implied inferior status of girls will become specific basically after the fall from grace in Eden, whilst God tells the lady: "your choose would be to your husband, and he shall rule over you" (Genesis 3:sixteen). Adam then provides his companion a acceptance, Eve, an act that echoes his naming of the beasts, which expressed his dominion over animalkind. in spite of the shown fact that, this account stresses, much greater strongly than the 1st tale in Genesis, the team spirit of the sexes and their mutual prefer. God says: "that's no longer good that guy would be by myself; i'll make him a helper and a companion" (Genesis 2:18). basically woman proves appropriate for this place.

Honey, in my culture (as far as I know) ribs don't even factor into the metaphorical equation. Humour, however, has an awful lot to do with both Creation and pro-creation (I figure the Creator had to have had a very vibrant sense of humour. How else do you explain both men AND women?!)

I'm afraid I must say funny bone... please note... there was no bad language (if you'll excuse the poor spelling and grammar).
