I've recently replaced the transferbox and exhaust and serviced everything, but cant figure out what this might be it is extremely noisy and the shaking is quite bad. thanks

thankyou to all that have replied, its a diesel auto j reg and its got 160k on the clock in kilometers, one mechanic has suggested it might be the diesel pump but I'm not to sure as it only rattles when stationary????????????

Gas or Diesel? what year and how many miles? Standard or Automatic?
Have see to many of my friends with a Pajero with this same problem. Some spend more time in the shop then on the road.

Engine missfire.
Vacuum leak?
Fouled spark plugs?
Loose spark plug wires?
It's tough to say.....
