How do you get the alternate cut scenes where leon kennedy is wearing his RPD uniform in Resident Evil 4?

I beat the game and already have all three costumes. But every time I play using the Leons R.P.D. uniform the cut scenes have him wearing his 1st costume ( the one with him wearing his bomber jacket). I don't understand why he isn't wearing his R.P.D. uniform in the cut scenes

I just answered your question about what gun Leon starts with. Here's a little more about RE4. After you beat the game, you will get the chance to play some mini-games, the first one you should play is "Assignment Ada". Why, you ask? Because once you have beaten this mini-game you can replay the main game (as Leon) with the "Chicago Typewriter". The Chicago Typewriter is a .45 calibur Thompson sub-machine gun like the one gangsters used in the 1930's and 1940's. It was also carried by officers in WWII (see "Saving Private Ryan" with Tom Hanks). It has infinite ammo and nothing can stand up to Leon with it. Also on the PS2, if you select the 2nd clothing option (Special#2), that put Leon in a black suite with red tie, a Black double breasted overcoat and a black dress hat. With the Chicago Typewriter this makes Leon look just like a gangster from the 30's/40's!!! It is totally AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Once you beat the game, you will be able to unlock them as a alternate costume. If you have the PS2 version, there is also a 2nd unlockable costume, but the Gamecube version only has one. Ashley and Ada will be wearing different costumes, too. And they are not just cutscenes, you will wear those costumes throughout the game.

The PS2 (and I believe PC) version used pre-rendered cutscenes instead of using the in-game engine, so the costume in the cutscenes is always the default one.
