My how quickly people forget! It was only 6 years ago and we are still suffering effects of it! A stark example of the apathy that seems to have overtaken people.How true are Jesus' words that people in the last days would be as they were in Noah's day "eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage", In other words so wrapped up in their own pursuits, that they take no note of Bible prophecy being fulfilled before their eyes! (Matthew 24:38-39)
Very sad indeed.

Unfortunately, this is a symptom of much of our children today along with the educational system. Many of today's students do not care about anything that does not directly affect them NOW. Anything beyond that is irrelevant. If the tune is not on their i-pod, it does not exist (as in "What's a Beethoven?). Math has no importance beyond the cost of a pair of sneakers. Students have "rights" but no responsibilities. Anything that happened before the past summer is too old to consider so why do we need to know anything about two World Wars?

2001. I still remember waking up to my Mother in Law screaming looking at the T.V. !!! When my Wife and I saw what was going on we were just in shock !!! We just couldn't imagine someone doing this to innocent people.
I called my Grandma on the phone and told her to turn on the T.V. and that's when I saw the second plane hit !!! Before we left for work we saw one of the building collapse.
We were crying and so upset I could not even talk. When we were driving to work on the freeway every one was driving so slow and nobody got upset and honked and people let you over to change lanes with out speeding up on you. You could tell that every one was listening to the radio by the way they looked. A blank stare shocked in disbelief. That was a horrible sad day !!!
I pray that everyone that had something to do with this evil act is caught and brought to justice.
God will hold them accountable !!!

It's a shame they don't know what year 9/11 occured. Of course it occured in 2001.

As time goes by we get back into our own lives and forget about it. The only way I remember what year is was is by my accident in the beginning of 02. I know 9-11 was the year before.

VERY sad. A brutal commentary on our society today. People need to quit worrying about what Paris and Lindsay are doing and start thinking about the REAL problems we are having in the world. Maybe then we would find an answer to our woes!
