Of course the US is peace loving but sometimes to achieve and keep that peace you have to be willing to fight for it. That is just an ugly reality.

I believe America is a peace-loving country, but sometimes you have to fight to protect what you believe in. Just because you are willing to stand up to oppression and fight the nastiest of battles to preserve freedom, doesn't mean you don't love peace. I think quite the opposite is true.

contrary to what some may think, yes it is. In reality the civilized world is no so civilized. For such a young nation, the USA has proved Democracy works. To free the world from dictatorship would bring about peace. To ignore there is evil in the world is asinine. It must be confronted and abolished.

What is a peace loving country? One that does not prefer war? Yes, the US is a peace loving country, but this is not a touchy-feely, warm-fuzzy world. There are some who understand and respect nothing or anyone who is not meaner, stronger, or as evil as they are. The Roman military had a creed that is appropriate today. Let them hate us, as long as they fear us more.

most of the people that live in the u.s. are peace loving but not the people that run it. i think our reputation looks really bad and i couldnt argue it.
