Weatherman, 8 or 9% of my best answer is by my own bias votre. Maybe 5 at the most of my 27 answer were picked by the asker. That's the difference

Answer the question fully. Don't just give them what they ask. Give them information that you think might help them more. Especially when everybody has the same right answer. You need to give them something extra to achieve the best answer. Also, sometimes the question answerers don't pick the best answer. People then vote for the best answer. Most people don't notice that the voting for the best answer is going on, so they don't vote. So if you want the best answer, just vote for yourself on past questions. Most of the time, you get the best answer no matter how dumb the answer is. This is a good thing to know.

You have to decide which answer is the best, it doesn't just happen. Unless you're talking about having one of your answers chosen by another asker... then it would probably do some good to put some thought into your answers. I'm not sure if you're doing that or not, but people don't choose 'idk' or any simple answer as a best answer.

Saying you cant get best answers when you have them is just an attempt to manipulate other users.

try answering a question that other people wouldnt normally answer, so the less answers, the more the chance of them choosing you
