Maybe he's had a failed relationship, and it has temporarily turned him against women. Or maybe he has other priorities, and the timing is off. Just because a guy doesn't depend on female companionship to keep him happy, doesn't necessarily mean he's gay. Try not to be so judgmental, because there are many reasons why people may not be ready to jump into a romance, other than looks, personality or sexual preference.

I wouldn't think any of those things. If he meant women as in a relationship with women, I would assume that he was confident and happy with himself and didn't need a relationship to complete him, which is admirable.

perhaps he scared of relationships. not happy or sure of sexuality. perhapshe likes inflateable toys best they dont want clothes meals and never ave haedaches,nor expect bday and xmas pressies,dont get peed off when out drinkin wiv mates.perhaps his mum is always on his case cos he wont leave home.perhaps he tried it and didnt like it. after all men luv beer footy snooker darts rugby cricket curry kebabs and trumpin burpin and shakin hands wiv personal bits.hence no woman in volved,this all make him happy so perhaps hes right?

Pope is a nice guy and he is always welcome to our hindu home in India and can have boiled rice and curry with us. He does not need women to keep him happy I hope.
