First to live in the White House?

John Adams was the first President to live in the Presidential Mansion. Then it was called the President's House. The mansion was a light pink color. It wasn't until after the British burned the building during the war of 1812 and it was repainted that it became white. Still then the house wasn't specifically called the White House until much later.
