When trying to clean up anything in refridgerator best method is water with lots of baking soda to scour. If it is sticky or dried on cover with a paper towel and soak with warm water and leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Should come right up. Then with mixture of baking soda and water clean the surface again. You can rinse with water but leaving the surface with some soda on it won't hurt a thing. Good luck.

Dishsoap water and a small amount of bleach. Try rubbing a little cooking oil on it too to remove the stickiness. It's non-hazardous.
