2nd Generation Nanos don't play Videos. Only 3rd Generation (current version) Nanos are able to play videos.

Well that is a very good question... answer:
2nd generation nanos CANNOT play video. Only 3rd Generation nanos can. If you recently purchased your 2nd generation, call or visit an Apple store and ask if they can give you a new 3rd gen. This is what my friend did two weeks after she bought the 2nd gen., even though she threw away her recept and opened and used the IPod, Apple still gave her a FREE trade in!
