It depends on how far they take it! Nothing wrong with holding hands or even a sweet little kiss, but when they get gross and start feeling each other up and tongue goes in deep then there is a problem...

I feel that its ok to express some affection in public. Hugging in public when you see a long lost friend or to say goodbye or hello to your boyfriend/ girlfriend. You could give a discrete kiss and it would be alright. But such things as making out need to be done in other places. There is a time and a place for everything.
I do not feel that gay couples should display affection in public ever. That is the kind of thing that there is never a time and a place for.

A peck on the lips is the furthest you should go to...besides hugging, holding hands etc. Anything more, people should get a room!

as long as they keep it within limits, then it doesn't bother me. But I find it gross to find two people just totally consumed in each other's mouths on the streets....seriously, get a room!

As long as they are actually affectionate and not overtly sexual, I have no problem. If they are excessively lewd, I don't think it is cool.
