What advice would you give a women who just recently married a guy almost 30 years older than her (she's in her mid '20's) and she just found out she's pregnant? Kids were not supposed to be the equation for either one of them. I';m not even 100% sure that he knows about it. I am a friend of the woman. I am against abortion, but I don't know what's in her best interests.

It's always in the best interest of everyone involved (especially the child) to choose LIFE.

God often has different "plans" than we do. Your friend and her husband will find that this baby will be a blessing they could never have imagined.

So what would I say to my friend? I would say "Congratulations! It's AWESOME that you are a mother!"

LOL, well I would think that two people one in there mid 20's and one in the 50's would have heard of something called birth control, ESPECIALLY if they didn't want kids. Idiots (IMO)... but they are old enough, I hope mature enough to talk about it and decided to do what is best for them. I am 100% against abortion, so I wouldn't recommend that, so maybe adoption or keep it (it could be a blessing in disguise)

the 1st thing ur friend should do is sit down with her husband and tell him that she is pregnant. From there it is their decision but make it clear that u will be ther for ur friend either way. But time is of the essence. How far along is she? She should tell her husband asap and even though it may have not been in the plans maybe it is fate that she is pregnant. Pregnancy should have been 1 of the things they discussed prior to marriage cuz of the age difference. Being she is only in her 20s she may end up regretting not keeping this baby and finding out NOW that her husband doesn't want any & end up resenting him whuch will definetly cause major probs in their relationship. So tell her to talk to her husband ASAP & stay out out of it til she needs u.

Why would you butt in? This is their situation....let them deal with it!

Unless of course, you are that woman. Sometimes things happen. A child is a beautiful thing that can happen! Suck it up and get on with your lives! Please dont have an abortion, there are plenty of couples out there that would just LOVE to have a baby! I know I am one of them!

i feel abortion is not a choice here!! if they were against having children they should have taken every precaustion not to get pregnant. it happened and now they need to do what is right and take the responsibility.

i would say dont have an abortion. it's not the babies fault. they need to work it out for the best interest of the baby.

why not keep the baby, it might be their biggest blessing in disguise, after all, it is a small version of themselves, every time i look at my daughter i see my husband in her eyes, and i know my soon to be son will be a small copy of him, i couldn't ask for a greater gift.
not all good things in life are planned.

Why should she not keep the baby? She is young and full capable of being a mother.

I would tell her to tell her husband and then I would butt out of it. It's between her and her husband, and they are the only two people in the world who have to live with their decisions.

Just offer her your support once her decision is made.
