Because of past success they're mired in it. They can't get out of the 20th Century.

They'll lose as usual. Won't even make it past first round much less the WS.

Here's the six reasons why the Yankees are going to sweep the Indians out of the playoffs:

1. April 17th NYY 10 CLE 3
2. April 18th NYY 9 CLE 2
3. April 19th NYY 8 CLE 6
4. Aug 10th NYY 6 CLE 1
5. Aug 11th NYY 11 CLE 2
6. Aug 12th NYY 5 CLE 3

Last time I checked that means the Yankees haven't lost a game to the Indians.

Furthermore. Where does an Indians fan get off telling Yankee fans to wake up.

Q. When's the last time the Indians won the World Series.
A. 1948

The Red Sox have shown they cannot beat the Yankees either since the Yankees turned the season around. The only team Yankee fans need to worry about is the Angels but they're beat up and will probably lose to the Red Sox anyways.

Get ready for the Yankees to bring number 27 back to New York.

Just saw you're actually a Tigers fan. Oh my bad. So what will you be watching on TV for the next month? It's obviously not going to be Tiger postseason baseball.

And as for Colt45. You shouldn't feel bad for whatever team has to play the Sox or Indians in the World Series because that's not going to happen. You should feel sorry for whoever has to play the Yankees.

Im a Red Sox fan...I'm sorry let me rephrase...Im an AL East Champions Red Sox fan...Yankees are washed up. They always have a great season, I'll give them that. However, the ones that got them there are the ones that fizzle out, example: A-Rod, Giambi, etc. The Tribe is a great team. They will beat the Yankees in 5 games. Then it is on to the ALCS against the Red Sox, who would have just ended up sweeping the Angels in the playoffs, again. That will be a matchup...The 2 best teams in the league in the ALCS. I feel bad for the NL team that has to face either in the Wolrd Series...

Yankees SUCK!
GO SOX!
GO TRIBE! (Until you face the Sox)

Martino...Yankees had the same type of line up since 2001...same lineup now as in 2004 and what happened then? exactly!

Because they put out a good team. Sooner or later, the Yankees will win a World Series. It is time for you to wake up and smell 1984.

They don't. I'm A Yankee fan, and I live in the real world. They have to scratch and claw their way to the AL Chamipionship series first, and then win the series. A lot of unforseen things can happen during that time interval.

i think the Yankees have a very good chance this year. They are on fire right now and that should carry over into playoffs. Many wrote them off earlier in the season because they weren't playing well. I believe they weren't playing well because the team is old and those veteran players know to pace themselves. Now that post season is upon us, they are prime for a good run and motivated, unlike Boston.

i dont think they'll get by cleveland... sabathia and carmona are better than any 1,2 punch they have. cleveland will beat them pending hafner staying healthy. i can't wait to see the red sox and indians, that should be freakin awesome

arod is a good player and i think his .290 avg in the playoffs isn't "choking", well maybe for his standards since he's so damn good, but they don't have the pitching.

Because they always think they'll win.

Georgie, what happened to the Tigers logo? Are you bandwagoning with the Indians now?
