Okay, well I breed mollies, and I just have a few problems.

First of all, I got 3 male mollies by accident, and no females.
Second of all, my tank is only a 20 gallon, so I don't want to get like 6-8 females for my males.
PLUS I also breed guppies, so I ALREADY have 6 adult guppies, along with my mollies.

So my question is, WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!!!?????

I'm not willing to get a tank ANY bigger.

AND- how do I solve this problem!? Because I REALLY want to breed mollies!!!!

Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

And I will choose best answer at the end!!!!!

P.S. Can a molly survive a 5-10 minute bike ride home?

Thanks!!!!!

ok i had the same problem as u did i got 3 platies and i was like ill just let them pick them out cause they had like 20 lol and i heard the chances of not getting a pair out of 3 is pretty rare and guess wat i got all males lol i was like noooo cause i really wanted babies so then i jus went to the store and i bought 1 female platy and they didnt bother her as much as i thought, i jus have alot of hiding places so she wouldnt get stressed so i would jus go buy 1 or maybe even 2 more female mollies

You could bring back 2 of the males and exchange them for females, that shouldn't be a problem

And yes they would survive a bike ride of 10 min as long as there is enough oxygen in the back and you don't put them directly into the sun

What are you planning on doing with the fry afterwards??

Hope that helps
Good luck

I would say take 1 or 2 mollies back to the store and get the females.
About the bike ride: it depends how they are transported. If you're thinking about putting the fish in a backpack, I would say abslutly not. They would be able to handle the temperature, but not the jostling arouund.

Well, since the other questions have been answered. If you want to breed mollies get rid of the guppies, as they can and do interbreed.

if you cant buy other tanks your in the wrong mindset.

breeding isnt done in 1 tank and raising livebeaer fry isnt done in a 20 gallon.

you shouldnt be looking into breeding. as it isnt fair for the fry to be stunted in a20 gallon with adults. your going to kill the tank longterm by pushing the biooverload.

breeders have at least 5 tanks reanging from 10gallons to 55 gallons.

if you cant get larger tanks or more tanks you should be looking into breeding.

Just enjoy fishkeepeing, as i hate to tell you youroverstocked now and your just going to crash the tank getting more fishes for that small of a tank and attempting to breed them.

Call the fish store where you bought them and ask if you can bring back the males in exchange for females. I have to wonder how you ended up with incorrectly sexed livebearers, though. I also have to question your status as "breeder" if you're not willing to invest in a new or bigger tank. What do you intend to do with the fry?

give some of guppies to someone, or by second tank and split them, guppies in one, mollies in the other... but why do you want to breed them?
