Scarface was my all time favorite. Especially since I grew up in Miami and the Marielito boat lift took place there. Cuba had sent us their prisioners and released their psychiatric patients on us The "tent City" was only 40 blocks from my house. The police think that the person who broke into my house, beat and abducted me was because they had all broken out of "Tent City" Many did not have sponsors/ Khrome Ave. detention center/immigration camp, was over packed so that the tent cities were put up. Miami was a dangerous place then!

I am an avid Pacino fan and have yet to see a role that I DIDN'T just adore him performing.
Having said that, I think that the Devil's Advocate ranks equal to "And Justice for All" - I will never forget his line [forgive my probably inaccurate quote] "OUT OF ORDER? !!..YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER!"
Also thought he was superb in Scent of A Woman.

I didnt see it but Al Pacino is pretty darn good in what ever he is in. I will get the dvd and have a look at it.

I liked his role in the Godfather the best. But he was good in the one you mentioned too.

I just watched that movie this morning. He was very into the role for sure. One of his best by far.

It was certainly one of his better ones, but he has a very long track record of good movies...Serpico, Cruising, Godfather series, that man can act!
