Are Liberals Truly Angry People ? .. . . .. . . Perhaps Someone Can Explain This . . .>>>?

Question

I just answered a Q that was a friendly poke at liberals . No hate no vitriol , just good-natured ribbing . And of course I saw liberal answers that reflected they take small friendly jokes way too seriously . We're used to that . But do we ever stop and ask WHY ?
The liberals have to admit that there's more than a few Conservatives , including myself , who post good-natured ribbing-type posts fairly often .
And just where are all the liberals who can post friendly joking pokes at Conservatives ?
Where's their humor ?
Personally , I'd absolutely LOVE to have a few good jokesters on the left that I could spar right back with . Sure we can get serious too but humor is good for the soul . Humor is good for your health . And I see no problem with adding a little humor to political questions . Not all the time , but certainly there's room for it .

Occasionally, I have come across people who claimed to be liberal but some of these individuals did not fit into the typical liberal pattern.
These individuals were not seemingly always mad / angry at the world, and yes they would even laugh at a good joke.
Within the past 15 / 20 minuets, I have given this question some thought.
Seems to the ol' man, that the liberals are an unhappy bunch. I do think that perhaps the reason for this malady is because they are intensely dedicated to their mindsets, and just can not handle having facts borne forth that disproves, invalidates, cancels, eliminates, or even diminishes the bases of and for their beliefs. This condition maintains a "tsunami in what normally should be a sea of mental tranquility".
Tread softly when presenting jest at their mindset, for they can AND WILL on occasion, retaliate with a vengence !!!
"THE POOR FOOLS, JUST CAN NOT TAKE A JOKE".

I've known a few. In fact, although Fox tried to put out their humorous answer to the Daily Show and things like it, they failed rather badly (I was cheering for the attempt).

It would be healthy and helpful. Political bigotry has reached an all-time high (it goes in cycles) and is about as unpatriotic (regardless of side) as you can get.

In addition, there are those who have the sense of humor of a rhino (no pun intended) and simply end up sounding boarish (pun intended).

I'm a patriot. I happen to be a democrat (not a liberal, not a socialist) as well, but that comes second. I love a good joke.

The question is, does the question poster know the difference between that and political bigotry?

Most Liberals are totally frustrated that anyone would even consider being Conservative, let alone voting for a Republican. So it annoys them that you don't want to be a Socialist like them. After all, the mantra is "Steal from the rich and give to the poor." Somehow as a Republican, I don't like the idea of going to work every day and having them take away half my money to give to my lazy video game playing neighbor so he can stay home every day and smoke. That is the difference between a Democrat and Republican.

I think you will see a lot of hatred in the far left. When you bring up President Bush or others in his administration you see pure hate not political differences, this kind of hate is irrational and shows why democrats like this will never be able to look at bipartisan solutions on the issues of the day.

I don't know Carlos Mencia makes me laugh and he is a Liberal. Plus you have family guy and American Dad. Most comedians are Liberal, but they don't really take life seriously. Liberal Politicians have no sense of humor they are too serious. I laugh at my own party at times!! proud Conservative :D

I'm conservative, i can answer questions, laugh at some answers, agree with some, disagree with others, and then go to sleep. the liberals seem to be really testy and they probably have a hissy fit and cant sleep all night. they need to get a sense of humor.

The conservative builds the Brewery and sells the beer.. The liberal thinks they should be given the beer for free since they don't own a brewery.

Once again, you're absolutely right. I really thought a lot of this reporting thing would go away, but it's still here. There's one particular troll who constantly write these stupid things on here about owning Americans and making snide remarks about our culture, so I answered him back in the same vein, and the buttplug reported me twice.
