We had a moses & a cot. She would only sleep well in her pram. In the end we carried the top of the pram up 2 bed every night lol. It got a bit much in the end so we had her in our bed until she was 3 months. Then we put her in her moses in her cot, when she hit 5 months & too long for the moses we put her in her cot. It was very hard but now she's 11 months, sleeps in her cot the first part of the night, into our bed the rest.
She still sleeps really well in her pram though, so if thats the same with your baby then don't waste your money on a moses, they really don't last that long & are not that comfortable anyway.

You can do whatever you like, a carry cot, moses basket or cot are perfectly acceptable places for a baby to sleep. Some babies find there is too much space in a cot when they are used to being curled up inside you but other than that its whatever suits you. Your baby will let you know where he is happy to sleep anyway.

Congrats on the soon to be birth of your son. I would try putting your son in the cot or crib. All babies are different, and your son may adjust perfectly fine to being in them. Moses baskets are nice, but they are expensive and only used for a very short time. Maybe you could find one second hand.
I'm sure your little boy will let you know what you need when he makes his appearance. Heck, he may love the crib!

As long as you get a seperate mattress for all night sleeping and ensure you use the correct covers then there is no reason baby cannot sleep all night in the carrycot.
There is no reason why baby cannot go straight into the cot either as long as you use the feet to foot position.

Moses baskets are cute but pricey and I don't think that they're as safe. Go for the cot.

Carry cot is fine! And try popping it into the cot as well, to get him used to sleeping in there too! Good luck.

my kids went into a bassinet for 2 months at the end of our bed then into the cot at the end of our bed. they stayed in our room till they were 1 year old then moved to their own room an i plugged the baby monitor in. i just needed to keep them close for the first year of their life. dont know why.
