The parents. The kids can't eat something if their parents don't allow it. And you don't have to go to mcdonalds nobody is forcing you. America is just starting to get disgusting 60% of adults are considered obese! Wth!!!!!! America needs to shape up NOW.

Fast food firms are somehow responsible for obesity, however I believe that the parents are the true responsible party, not McDonald's!

I would have to say the parents have a lot to do with it. Lets feed them something fast because we are so busy so swing in the drive through at mcdonalds. This could be a definite case.

to answer the question; the fact is ppl are obese b/c of the choices they make. imho they eat poorly and don't exercise enough to make up for their caloric intake.

People need to stop blaming outside influences and take responsibility for their own actions.
