If we are working on the assumption from the question that there is a God, then we must also work from information given in the Bible. I have thought long and hard about this, and there are several points that must be addressed. Number one: God created Man in his own image - if so, then God has a body in human shape. The human body is designed to conform to, and exist in, a gravitational environment, and to interact physically with that environment. Question: Why does God have a body thusly designed?
Number two. When God spoke to Moses on Sinai, He showed him only his "rear or hindmost portions" so Moses would not be slain by the full glory of God's "face" - once again delineating specific physical traits.
Number three: In the Garden of Eden and at the Tower of Babel, God "walked" upon the earth, again clearly referring to a physical body, and Enoch "walked" with God, perhaps a euphemism referring to Enochs' chosen lifestyle of serving God.
However after the Incarnation of God as Flesh in the person of Jesus Christ, He is no longer described in physical terms, save for a description of the New Jerusalem that refers to the Throne of God, and commonly rendered as an actual seat or throne. He begins to be visualized as a Light, an infinitely bright, and white Light, that Illuminates all corners of Eternity.
This may be an evolution of sorts, and it further begs the question, What will be the duties and responsibilties of the immortal human spirits that pass Judgement and live forever? What would you do with Forever - in a form that cannot die, that cannot be hurt, that has the full power of an Awakened brain with total recall at its disposal? Perfect form and function of the body - no sickness, no weakness, no genetic imperfections to restrict you. Want to visit the Sun? No problem. How about taking a vacation on Pluto? No problem. Except .... they may not be there anymore. "And all the heavens and the earth were rolled away, and there was a new heaven and a new earth." The void and limitless distance of space may be a thing of the past. What if all the laws of physics just no longer apply? What will we do with Forever? When we are as Gods ourselves by comparison to our current being? I intend on starting a world of my own, with its own races, where I can be the ultimate Dungeonmaster in a real-life game of Dungeons and Dragons. All the imaginary worlds you can think of might be yours to create.
So, back to the question: Who or what created God? What if (like the song says) God really was one of us? What if in some terribly distant past, in a Time separate from ours, God went through his own life, Judgement and Ascension and then after eons of study, went off into a tiny corner of Eternity and created our Universe? Remember the image from Men in Black, right at the end, when our whole universe is revealed to exist inside an alien's marble? And there are countless other "marbles"? What if God isn't alone except in our "marble"?

God was invented or created by humans to divert attention from evil things in the world.
But the new world of today needs a modern GOD.
I mean the new GOD should have a mobile phone with a camera built in so that he can talk ans see everyone and guide the evil minded people.
The world has more strange and bad people around

We live in a duality. We live in a duality, because there is no other option but for a duality to exist. Think of it: nonexistence. How can a state of nonexistence exist? It can't.
This is what god is.
Is. That's all. God is not a he, she, or it. God is existence, and all the potentialities of existence. AND ALSO nonexistence, which we are not able to fully comprehend. The existent and the nonexistent universes are paralleled in our reality by the phenomenons of physical and spiritual; however, the spiritual is part of the existent universe, not the nonexistent universe.
The nonexistent universe does not actually exist - but that is the definition of a nonexistent universe. The existent universe has no choice but to exist, BECAUSE the nonexistent universe "exists".
Get it? Yeah, I didn't think so.

You can search your whole life looking for answers to question that you may never find however this should never stop you from looking : )
Enjoy your journey through life and keep searching
Maybe you should take up Meditation and you might find some answers : )
These are some of the benefits of meditation:
1.Improved concentration - A clear mind makes you more productive, especially in creative disciplines like writing.
2.Less bothered by little things - Do you sometimes allow yourself to get upset by little things? It is the nature of the mind to magnify small things into serious problems. Meditation helps us detach. We learn to live in the here and now, rather than worrying about the past or future. We do not worry about meaningless things, but see the bigger picture.
3.Better Health - There have been numerous studies pointing to the health benefits of meditation. The reason is that meditation reduces stress levels and alleviates anxiety. If we can reduce stress, many health benefits follow.
4.Knowledge of Self - Meditation enables us to have a deeper understanding of our inner self. Through meditation we can gain a better understanding of our life’s purpose.
Love & Blessings

Sounds like a simple enough question, but its not. No one knows. Some will say that God just is and always was, that no one created him. Others will say what god?, there is none.

There are really only two schools of thought on this question.
1. God is and always was.
2. God was invented by man to explain the unexplainable.
Whichever is right for you, is the right answer.
