Obviously, you either don't have any anti-spyware installed, or you aren't using it. This is a favorite stunt of spyware called browser hijackers. If you had Ad-Aware and it was up-to-date and you used it, you'd probably find this. Or SpyBlaster and it was up to date. It takes both to keep a computer free of this kind of junk, but ONLY if you use them.

You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC, run a virus scan. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

I sounds like you do. Try running both a good anti virus scan, and a couple of good spyware scans. If you don't have any of this software it can be downloaded for free at the following sites.

All of the following are free.

Turn off System Restore.

--‘Start’ > ‘My Computer’ > ‘Properties’ > ‘System Restore’ tab

--enable “Turn off system restore on all drives” > click apply > click ok.

The you should reboot your computer in safe mode. You can do this by pressing F8 repeatedly during boot up. This should clear out any malware in RAM and the registry.

Next you should run your antivirus, antispyware and anti-adware software. Delete or quarantine any viruses or malware found.

Reboot your computer in normal mode and run virus scan again.

Some typical examples of free downloads for keeping your system clean are:

Probably spyware. Scan your computer with your anti spyware program, or get AVG, Avast, or Superantispyware.
