I agree. I've always felt that these animals have surrendered their humanity when they turned predator. I think they should be executed in the exact same way that they butchered their victims. It couldn't be called cruel and unusual then, could it? After all, it was good enough for the victims, wasn't it?

The purpose in avoiding the infliction of pain (even to those deserving of such) is to show that we are somehow better than they are... Laws are meant to encourage not to become that which we detest... for this reason, we also don't use torture as a valid means of interrogation. On a side note, considering the cost of a state sanctioned execution is millions more than a life in prison sentence... is execution fiscally sound? And when we discover an innocent person has been executed, HOW do we atone for that? The death penalty is also unfairly applied... women seldom receive it, blacks overwhelmingly do... where is the "justice" in our system?
That being said, why not just up the dose of the first injection??? A just short of fatal dose of painkiller should do the trick, then 2 and 3 can do their job...

To me it doesn't really matter, what does matter is the fact that we spend so much time and money trying to figure out should we or shouldn't we. Is it humane? who gives a s---. With DNA it is pretty hard to accuse the wrong person. DNA pretty much proves innocence or guilt. And the only time DNA should be used is if a person's life has been taken, and/or pedophiles. The way I see it all the Paul Bernardos that we are supporting in Fed. Pens should just be taken out. Don't waste any time or money, just take em out so we don't have to deal with them. They are a waste of skin and not worth anything, so just rid the world of these diseases and don't waste any time energy or money. In fact maybe they should be made to execute each other, you know kinda like one would execute one guy then the next one would get to do that one then the next one and so on and so on.

No, you are not off base. I agree with you.
Do you know WHY they are trying to make a big deal about the last few minutes of life? Because they are wanting to use the guillotine (yes you read that right!) and are trying to say it is more humane and quicker. In fact they have even voted on trying to make it the USA's method of killing all "convicts" with the death sentence.

Not at all. If people seriously want to start arguing this, then I have a simple solution: Bring back the Guillatine. A clean sever of the entire head results in instant death. Even those who want to argue that the brain will remain alive for a few seconds, no pain will be felt as the nerves are completely severed.

they're going to die anyways. they should just do it in a way thats the cheapest.
did you know, that it costs more then the average income of a person per year to keep 1 convict in jail for a year?
they take so much money. in my opinion they should just do it the way that is cheaper. if they use the guillotine then there will be blood all over and someone will have to clean it. they should just hang them
its the cleanest way.

They should submit to the same fate as their victims. In a similar fashion and with the same warning. If they surprised someone and threw them off a building. They should be surprised on a roof.

Suetonius, in his "existence of Claudius," reported a guy named Chrestus and his Jewish followers in Rome. in spite of the shown fact that, “Chrestus” is the surprising Latin form of an certainly Greek call, and is no longer a mispelling of “Christos.” There are additionally no thoughts of Jesus going to Rome. The writings approximately Jesus attributed to Josephus have been inserted a lot later, in all hazard by skill of “church historian” Eusebius, who first reported them approximately 324 CE, for Emperor Constantine's Council of Nicaea. all of us know this for various motives: * No Christian or pupil formerly then refers to it, extremely no longer the Christian pupil Origen, whose library Eusebius used. * Origen even wrote that Josephus did no longer believe in Jesus Christ. * If the pious Jew Josephus had particularly theory that Jesus replaced into the Messiah, he could have become a Christian. * Copies of Josephus' works exist, that lack the two connection with Jesus. * the type of the text fabric is noticeably distinctive from something of his writings. * The paragraph is thoroughly out of context with the paragraphs around it, and interrupts their tale line. * Josephus wrote substantially approximately many minor human beings of the time. A single paragraph and sentence for the Messiah is impossible. Tacitus wrote around 117 CE, and gave not greater suggestions than what Christians of the time believed. in spite of the shown fact that, Tacitus could have used Jesus' call no longer his non secular call “Christos.” Tacitus' meant connection with Christ replaced into no longer stated by skill of Eusebius or Origen or Clement of Alexandria interior the third century. The writings interior the Jewish Talmud approximately Jesus have been executed on the earliest around 3 hundred CE, and are not data for Jesus. The data shows that Jesus is basically a mythical character and by no skill existed. For different data, see the links.
