had foot surgery and need a wheelchair for 3 weeks. where can i rent one? I live in Reno. Yeah I should have ask my Dr. but didn't see him after surgery and it is Saturday.

Definitely Portland, Oregon. You didn't mention where you're moving from, but Portland has a great public education system. The job market isn't outstanding, but there are opportunities at Nike, Intel, and many other companies. The stereotype that it rains constantly just isn't true. I saw a report of the wettest cities and it's not even in the top 20. Also, the cost of living in lower than most states, and certainly Nevada. There is no sales tax either. However, property taxes are a bit steep. There is decent public transportation, but it is more of a "car" state. Traffic is not a major problem, but it's getting worse. The air is still clean and there are lots of trees. I'm from Portland and it looks like most of your other respondents are from Portland as well. I've never been to Reno; only Las Vegas many times, so I'm not qualified to speak about Reno. I tried to give a fair assessment of Portland for you, however. Call the local hospital, all the ones I have been to have them for rent in a small shop at the hospital at a competitive price. If they don't have any there they will be able to tell you were to get one close by.
