While I only own a handful of Talking Heads albums, the one my friends tell me is their quintessential album is More Songs About Buildings and Food.

Talking Heads:77 was their first one which is really good, but another good one, and probly their most well known one is Remain in Light. if youre just starting to listen to them, i suggest you buy the best of Talking Heads.
