Thick hair is beautiful. Get a good straightner and flat iron it out, and it will look great. This girl is probably just jealous of you, and tells people not to like you because it makes her feel better about herself. You can find cute and stylish clothes without going to hollister or a&f. Good Luck Hun.

Jordyn, dear, it is not what you wear but it is on the inside that counts.

I am the mother of a ten year old and she is totally not into Hollister or Ambercrombie and Fitch, my husband and I are teaching her it is on the inside that matters not the clothes.

When are kids your age going to grow up and realize that is is not the clothes that make a person but the personality of a person that makes the person.

You are succomming to peer pressure and if you let your peers decide what kind of clothes you are going to wear, and what hairstyle you are going to have and what shoes you are going to wear and the color of your eyes and what to eat and what not to eat, my gosh, you mise as well be a doll or just stand in the middle of the floor in your bedroom and have everyone "fuss over you" until the find the "perfect style" and becuase there are so many people working on you, they never will!!!!

Put your hands up in the air and walk away and find yourself and your own style and quit listening to other people, when are you going to stop doing this, when you are fifty, stop doing this, and stop doing this now!!!

You have a mind, use it!!!!

AE! they have solid high quality clothing at a solid cost. Hollister stuff has a tendency to get holes in it (it incredibly is it you're a woman, and their womens denims are actually not that large). Abercrombie is a debatable/extra costly keep.

Ok well first you need to boost your self-esteem.. dont let that stupid girl puch you around or anything. and who cares that you dont have hollister/abercrombie & fitch clothing. If you shop at TJ-Maxx/Ross/Beaulls or whatever store around there like these you can find stuff like that. Go to a hairdresser & tell her you want your hair thinned out! They can do that, so i would ask, either that or straighten it or put it up anything.

First of all, you don't need to be cool. You need to be YOURSELF. That's how I am, I am myself and I feel happy just like that. You don't need to be cool to fit in and have friends. When you are yourself, and you attract the people that you attract, those are your friends. Friends that want to be your friend because of your clothes or makeup or whatevr, aren't true friends.

Second, who cares if you don't have anything from Hollister adn A&F? Who cares? Too many people in this society are caring too much with what people are wearing and everything. Wear what you want to wear, wherever it may be from. Doesn't matter if it's Wal-Mart or Ralph Lauren. Wear what you wanna my friend.

Third, forget this girl that doesn't like you. There are going to be people who don't like you and talk and say stuff behind your back. You don't need them in your life, just block them out, find some new people to hang out with, and go on with your life.

Being cool isn't about what you wear; it's about who you are and how you feel about yourself. You have to be self-confident and not care what they say or do and don't react as if you are hurt or bothered by their actions. When a girl acts this way, it is because she is jealous or threatened by you....so by acting upset you are giving her exactly what she wants. Hold your head up and smile like you have something to hide; they'll all wonder what it is and soon they'll be talking to you instead. Good luck, it gets much easier after high school.

You do know that you can thin out your hair. Yes it's possible. Go to a salon and they'll most likely have thinning shears or razor blades to thin your hair out with. But being cool can mean sooo many different things with different people. You can't please everyone like someone has already said. Just stick to the group you feel most comfortable with.

I think she might be jealous of you. She sounds very unsure of herself if she's scared of people liking you. That's why she fills up on clothing and 'brands'. Ignore her and any who follow her. Make your own friends and wear your own style. There's no such thing as cool - and be glad you've got thick hair. Many women would kill for hair like yours. Be proud of it.

well first of all....those stores don't have that much cute stuff anyways...plus it is waayyyyy over priced. you can find really cute stuff at like target and old navy for really cheap... and her making people not like you.... well she has a serious problem... maybe she is jealous... and she can't handle anyone but her having attention.. I would suggest.... ignore her... i know that is going to be hard... but if you show her that you are angry... it will only fuel her fire... kill her with kindness... good luck! and be yourself
