Not too many RV parks in the Orlando area are geared for long term rentals, they like the big turn-over and big bucks. If you don't mind being a little away from Orlando, you'll have better luck.

The above link is to Florida Camp Inn on US 27 South of US 192 and North of I-4. It's a small campgroung with a wonderful swimming pool and friendly people. I have never stayed long term so I can't tell you the rates for that. Daily rates are as low as $17 per day.

Above is a RV park in Christmas, Florida, East of Orlando on SR 50. Here you will be away from all the noise of the big city but close enough to visit Orlando and the East coast.

The Great Outdoors Resort a little farther East of Christmas is the best of the best. It can be expensive but if you enjoy the best, this is the place to be. We stay here several times a year and enjoy ourselves everytime we do.

Above is a list of over 100 RV parks in the Orlando area. You notice I've stayed away from KOA's and Encore Parks. I've done so due to their high costs. I drove through the KOA on West US 192 a few weeks ago to do a review and was surprised at the lack of shade. As a fulltime RVer, I need some shade to take some of the load off the A/C's.

The above park is the park we moved into in April of '03 when we sold our house and started fulltiming. These people have always accommidated us. They are just off the main drag in Kissimmee by about a mile. Wonderful people and great pool.
Membership parks don't, usually allow long term parking. If you are a member, Thousand Trails, on US 27, just North of US 192 is rather nice. They do allow extended stays for people working as rangers, sales, maintenance and such.
We are in Brooksville, 80 miles West of Orlando, and rates here area much cheaper than the Orlando area. I have priced extended stays as low as $280 per month to as high as $400. These rates are for full hook-ups, including electric.
Additional information: Thousand Trails, Orlando preserve, has 30 Extended Stay Sites Available. Call (352) 394-5531. I just got my copy of "Trailblazer" magazine, the official publication of Thousand Trails. I'm not sure if these are available to non-members. Give them a call to find out.
