Are any preseason games on tv? I have Direct TV and last year watched most games on Detroit station 636. Will I be able to do that this year? Or do I have to purchase NHL TICKET?

Most of the games will be shown on FSN Detroit - Channel 636, with a handful being broadcst on Versus (Channel 603) throughout the season, and a few on NBC starting in February. You can see which network is covering any particular game by viewing the teams schedule at detroitredwings.com

Tonight's game is going to be on live on Comcast Local and they're replaying it on Fox Sports at 11:00. I don't know about Direct TV.

As for the regular season:

It's usually pretty accurate.

I have no idea. I've been trying to get them to because they're my favorite hockey team and I think they'll only show on Fox Sports Net. You can check what channel it's on by by going to yahoo sports. hockey. Click on Detroit Red Wings. Go to schedule and it should tell u. Go Wings.
