Actually they are conveying to you that to make up for it you should come out with2.5 answers (each answer @ 2 points).See,it's game of volumes and keeps the YAHOO site going with you,me and the lamp post doing all the finger work.

I guess it's a way of encouraging you to answer questions and give something back, rather than just asking endless questions of your own and never helping anyone else out.

They have to keep the balance of questions and answers, otherwise this thing wouldn't work. You know you'd get some saddo on here asking questions about every aspect of their life and never responding to anyone else... :)
