I'm sure he meant that Obama doesnt condone rioting, criminal behavior, and is'nt standing up for these thugs simply because they are black. Perhaps the "rev" jesse is upset because Obama is not more like him.... Although i do not and will not support Obama for President, i have to say he did a fine job here,,,,,

Even though I don't support Obama for president, I do support his stance on the Jena issue. All he said was that the "Jena 6" need to be held accountable for their actions. Obama isn't "toeing the line" with the so called reverends black agenda. he is just speaking the truth as a human being.
For that I do respect Obama.

Jesse Jackson meant that black people are suppose to stick together, & support other black people. Even if they've committed a crime, & they're clearly guilty. And any black person who isn't willing to put their race first & doesn't support black issues, causes, & activists, is acting white. That's what Jesse Jackson meant. I don't understand why people call stupid race baiters like Sharpton & Jackson Reverends.

he meant he's acting too much like Bill Cosby [meaning he didn't have to: constantly use the "n" word, blame the 'man'(or anyone else for that matter), curse incessantly, commonly and willingly use neg publicity or controversy to get some PR, or compromise/attack common moral values to get where he is today]. if people realized the only 'man' trying to hold anybody down are people similar to whom you've mentioned - Jesse and the rest would all be out of a job!

Rev. Jackson hasn't really stood by that comment, which makes me think it either isn't a real quote, or something that slipped out.

When Jackson puts it on his website, or endorses another candidate, then it will mean something. Of course, it won't take away from Obama, since he isn't saying anything.

He meant the Obama wasn't buying into the modern civil rights movement. You know those people who pretend we still live in the 1950's, when schools were segregated by law, when bathrooms were color coded, when black women married the fathers of their children(oops). What Jesse was saying is that Obama doesn't agree with his definition of racism, which is the unwillingness of whites to put up with bad behavior of non-whites

It's called envy. Jackson doesn't like the fact that Barack is getting a lot more Dem support in his presidential bid than Jackson did when he ran.

Jesse wants Obama to bleed out his White 50% and form a rap group.

Seems to me that any time a black person strays away from the main black school of thought he is accused of being "white".

Jackson is dissing Obama, because Obama has not "kissed up" to Jackson and Sharpton. They are all left wing liberal loonies. It really doesn't matter if they get along or not.
