I would ask a midwife or you doctor if it is safe. Prune juice works really well and is safe during pregnancy, I had to use it a few times and boy did I feel better after, lol.
Good luck you are nearly there and then it will be more comfortable to poop, no baby getting in the way, or big belly, lol.

My doctor told me to take Senekot at 13 weeks for a severe constipation problem I had. You should ask your own doctor if that's what he or she recommends. Not all doctors like their patients to take the same things during pregnancy. Good luck.

Prunes or prune juice will solve your problem in a natural way.
Drink an 8 ounce glass every morning and evening for a day or two. This should take care of it.

I work in a pharmacy and always tell pregnant women to only take lactulose for constipation. If that doesnt work they need to see a GP.

It may be herbal but it is a drug - a powerful large-intestinal stimulant. Some people swear by it but I always found it gave me bad stomachaches.

You NEED to ASK YOUR OWN OB!
PLEASE don't ask this critically important question here... ask the person who's taking care of you and trying to make sure you have a healthy baby.
Don't tell me that it's Saturday... ALL OB's have someone on call at night and on weekends, so you CAN get an answer.
Another person who's well qualified to answer is your pharmacist.
