I would have normally said that, I hate sausage, if not for the day, that a five pound box of sausage saved my life. I never will forget it!...
We lived in the Oregan mountains and I was coming down the hill with some fresh creek water. When a roving band of coyotes came after me. I ran for dear life but they were hot on my heels. I started tossing sausages and as I tossed everyone the coyotes, one by one, gave up the chase and went for the suasages.
I made it almost back to the house. When a bear came at me from nowhere. I WAS FRESH OUT OF SAUSAGES!
But my body had retained the smell of the sausages from the close contact that I had just had with them, the bear must have thought that I was a big sausage. He could not figure out how to eat me. He was SO happy!!! The vets say that he must have been so happy that he had a heart attack. Anyway, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for sausages.
And remember when trekking thru the Oregan wilderness always save some sausages for the bears.

I actually like sausage with breakfast. However I prefer seafood - if you don't think of that as a meat then a nice Porterhouse Steak would be good. How about dinner?
