Those are the best, aren't they?! :) When you look down & spot cold, hard cash on the ground!
I once found over 200 bucks on a train platform. More recently, 30 dollars on my street.
(& don't you love finding money you forgot about in pockets?!)

Man. Anybody careless & dumb enough ot lose THAT kinda cash *deserves* to get it lost, found & Spent by someone else...like me, dammit! ;)

I found $75 at work. Turned it in and never saw it again. I was dumb.....I only turned it in b/c I thought it belonged to my friend and I wanted to make sure he had his money for the week. Guess I should have asked him.

I have found $5 on the ground at school and 10 dollars in my purse a couple of times.

I decided to re-read one of my books, and found a £10- note I'd put in there 3 years earlier! The next day, I found another £10- in the pocket of my camera case, also from 3 years before!

I used to work at a ski resort, in Truckee, CA. On this resort, I worked at an information booth, which doubled as a lost and found.
I personally didn't find this, but I really respect and admire the person who did. A man walked up to me, and handed me a wallet with $700 sitting in it.
I looked at the ID inside, and paged the owners name over the P.A. System. He was overjoyed to get his wallet back.
